When we address the root cause of hormonal imbalances, not only will one symptom go away, they all will go away.

There are a lot of practitioners out there that help women with hormones, but honestly, I have found most of them are not looking for the root cause of what's actually causing hormonal imbalance.  

They usually will prescribe a medication with harmful side effects that can cause you to feel worse.   Most other practitioners and programs either introduce foreign hormones or just impact symptoms, but they don’t address the root cause so your health is improved and all your symptoms dissipate instead of just the one you’re treating.

How Do I Know This?

Let me take a minute to tell you about myself so you have a little context.   I have been an acupuncturist specializing in women’s health and hormones for 12 years and have treated thousands of women.  I have also been a personal trainer for 17 years where I specialized in women’s weight loss, so I’ve seen A LOT!

I also have dealt with my own hormonal issues. I went through a phase in my life where I was constantly exhausted, irritable, anxious, depressed and couldn’t sleep well.  My periods were chock full of PMS and they were irregular due to the high stress in my life.  I also had chronic lower back pain that no matter what I did wouldn’t go away.  It was miserable, anxiety inducing and frustrating.  I felt like a shell of myself… and I was even a practitioner very early on in her career who let this creep in.  I would have high aspirations each day and just be so tired I could barely even get through the day with work and my two kids. 

I tried everything to feel better and did the same things as you might be doing, supplements by the fistful and lots of different types of practitioners that offered lots of testing, restrictive diets, 10 step routines and added a ton of different “lifestyle” things to my to-do list daily. 

It wasn’t even working great either. Sure, I might see a couple steps forward, but inevitably would fall backwards again.

It wasn’t until I went to the drawing board for myself and put together all the knowledge I had obtained to create the 5 pillars to hormone healing.  I simplified things and implemented only the most important things for myself.

Within a relatively short amount of time, I started noticing that I didn’t feel that fog everyday.  I actually had energy to be productive all day long.  I was more patient with my kids instead of snapping at them.  My period was coming every 28 days instead of 38 days and weren’t unbearable with bloating, mood swings, headaches, acne breakouts, spotting and cramping.  I also could sleep through the night without waking up from 1-3 am staring at the ceiling frustrated that the entire cycle was being perpetuated.
